Why Elderlies should exercise outside, to feel happy and healthy.

Many elderlies like to stay at home and coup themselves in their room while watching their favorite television show, and enjoying their massage chair. While that is usually how most people spend their retirement life after working for more than half of their life, this type of life is often not ideal both physically and mentally.

Going outside may be very tiring, having to drain energy, and most people will think of it as a waste of time. However, doing the correct variations of exercise would mean that there is a high chance you would be able to stay alive and lead a more healthy lifestyle as compared to most of the other people whom often have a sedentary lifestyle. Going outside of your house to do exercises and breathe some fresh air would often be good for blood circulation, helping you to concentrate on all of the activities of the day, keeping your mind active and fresh, preventing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and would even help to prevent dementia.


Physical healthy may be one thing that can easily be fixed through more exercises to reduce the chances of getting them. However, there are also other issues that can be fixed through going outside to exercise and in which some of these would include mental health problems. Going outside and breathing fresh air usually allows people to take their mind off things and reduce stress, which allows the brain to function better after.


Different forms of exercising would all be good for the human body. Some of which would include stretching, doing Yoga, Taichi and many other activities in which elderlies could actually do to de-stress themselves and lower the chances of them falling sick. Personally, most of the elderlies that I know are usually happier if they are more active, some of them would go to the market to get fresh food and cook for the family while others would be exercising or even playing games such as chess that trains the brain. In General, those whom goes outside would actually look happier and have a more positive mindset as compared to those whom usually lock themselves at home.
